Something about me, in the third person.

Darcy Montgomery is creative and strategic director at Velvet Rope Productions, where he has been helping brands find and tell their stories since 1998.

He has directed and produced integrated external marketing campaigns – including print, television, radio and web executions – and internal communications for a range of local, national and multinational brands, including IMG Worldwide, American Express, St. Michael’s Hospital and the Thousand Islands Playhouse.

Darcy teaches brand design and strategy for the Institute of Communications Agencies, and has lectured on brand narrative for marketing groups across the country.

Darcy is also a founding board member and creative director of motionball, a volunteer organization that has raised over $1.5 million in support of Special Olympics Canada since its launch in 2002.
